Hello! I’m Paula, the proud founder of Blacktag Octane.
While I’m originally from Romania and English isn’t my first language, I’m excited to connect with you here!
Cars have been my passion since my teenage years, and growing up with a big brother who was obsessed with them definitely sparked my love for this lifestyle. I’ve built my life around cars by studying mechanical engineering and working in the automotive industry. Even in my free time, you’ll find me tinkering with cars or taking them for a spin!
My experience working with FORD and BMW made me realise just how precious classic cars are. Sure, modern technology makes driving easier, but there’s something special about the feeling of being behind the wheel of a classic. That’s why I started Blacktag Octane- to create a space where we can share our love for classic cars and enjoy beautiful moments together.
I truly hope to meet others who share the same dream of keeping these timeless treasures on the road!My very first classic car was an Audi 100, and I’ve also had a BMW E30, swapping engines over the years.
Life took me to England back in 2021, where I found my soulmate, and together we share our passion for classic cars- whether it’s working on them, enjoying joy rides, or racing!The BMW E30 M3 used to be my dream car, but as I discover more cars, it becomes clear that each one has its own charm and uniqueness.
