Muttley is part of Colin’s collection and remains one of his pride and joys, and is alsothe first true classic car I ever drove properly — not gently, not briefly, but on the road, during a rally, and under real pressure.
Loud, uncompromising, and full of character, Muttly doesn’t try to hide what he is. He’s the kind of car that makes you listen, feel, and commit. There’s no refinement to soften the experience — only feedback, noise, and presence.
My first time with Muttley was during a rally in Spain. He overheated badly under the heat, tested our patience, and demanded attention at every stop. But when it mattered most, he did exactly what a proper car should do: he got us there, and he brought us back home again.
This project isn’t about transformation or rebuilding. It’s about use, care, and respect — documenting a car that remains alive, maintained, and ready whenever the road calls again.
