I bought the UK’s cheapest Rover P4, and if I’m honest, it wasn’t because it made perfect sense at the time. It wasn’t a carefully planned purchase, and it definitely wasn’t the kind of car most people would look at and think, “Yes, that’s the one.” But there was something about it that stuck with me. I didn’t buy it because it was a good idea……Read More

Shopping is less tedious in a classic or I would say proper car. Also shop late to get all the bargains.

The only time it doesn’t get used much is when they start salting the roads. Even then I still take it a couple of miles a week too get everything warm. I mean why would you not, tax free motoring and thousand times more fun…

Totally makes sense! I know how bad salt is for cars, especially proper classics. I’m really looking forward to experiencing a classic as a daily driver. The more you drive them, the more reliable they become. Sitting unused is their worst enemy.

For me it would be the Mercedes Benz Maybach S680 First Class. Not that I ever would as even if I had that kind of money to spend on a car I would always buy a classic. If…Read More

Interesting idea! Funny enough, I used to be a BMW fan since I was a teenager and I even worked for them as a service advisor, but not anymore with all the modern stuff.
Modern cars just aren’t really to my taste. They’re fine to drive now and then, and great for towing a trailer, but all those sensors drive me mad! I also find them quite str…Read More-
I agree. Good friend of mine has a 2025 5 series bimmer electric, as his company car. Been in it a few times and all the sensors and warnings like the lane thing and is has a shout at you if you go 31 etc. I think these are all mandates for new cars. I would never buy one just for that… I agree about the Bluetooth though. My fintail has…Read More
