Long-distance touring, 1930s style.
Because apparently luggage space wasn’t negotiable.

I don’t think I could choose…I love them both…I love how playful the t51 is, but also the wildness and preselector gearbox on Betty…Dolly! 😊

Betty is very different to the later dolomites o dolly’s form the BL era in the 70s

Yes, only two were ever made, and apparently they bankrupted Triumph! The cost of building these cars was so high, and the selling price was the same, that nobody really wanted to buy one! They do share the exact same engine as on Alfa Romeo 8c, just imperial not metric.

Hmm, must be a race track?!? The only ones Ive been was Prescott, Silverstone and Donington so none of those…Am I close? 😅

It was a race track, the first purpose built one ever. It then closed in 1939 as the Germans invaded Poland. Its near london. This part is the old pits which is now a business park, P&G and Samsung are there. Its a museum now.

There is a lot of motoring things on You tube, but a lot of them wind me up. Yours however is different. I watch the videos for more than a couple of minutes. If you cut me, I bleed Mercedes, plus my initials are MB… But I do like some bimmers, like the the 90s ones like yours and the 7 that was in a bond film, cant remember the E number for that. Remind me? I was in a mates company car an electric 5 that is about a year old, full of the mandate EU safety stuff like it shouts at you if you go 31mph…Read More

Reminds me of the Citroen CX Tissier’s from the 70s and 80s. They made flatbeds and the Loadrunner for high speed newspaper deliveries.
