I’m very excited to share this news with you!
Last weekend at Prescott was the Annual Prize Giving, and I was awarded the Elizabeth Junek Trophy — for a BOC lady driver, for meritorious performance during the season, not necessarily while driving a Bugatti.
It feels like yesterday when I was standing at the start line for the first time — nervous, my legs shaking. But once the light turned green, everything disappeared. For one minute, it was just me and my Silver Bullet.
I wasn’t chasing any prize. I was just happy to be there — to learn my car in a safe environment. Until the adrenaline kicked in… and all I wanted was a better time. A quicker one.
I wouldn’t have started this if it wasn’t for Colin, supporting me and encouraging me to at least give it a go.
And even if you don’t need a track to enjoy a car like the BMW M3, it surely won’t embarrass you.
