Greetings from Australia…. I’ve been following the Blacktag Octane on YouTube for a few months and have been enjoying the content immensely. My particular passion is for Italian GT cars of the 60s and 70s.

Hi Matthew thanks for the ‘like’ and to answer your question, I’ve had a few ‘classics’ over the years many before they were ‘Classics’ however my two long term classics are a 1972 Lancia Fulvia Sport Zagato which I’ve had since 1989 and a 1970 Maserati Indy 4200 since 2000

Greetings from the UK, Mark and a very warm welcome to the Blacktag Octane corner of the internet! 😊
It genuinely means a lot to hear you’ve been enjoying the videos over the past few months.
You clearly have excellent taste as well, there’s just something incredibly special about Italian GT cars from the 60s and 70s. The styling, the noise, the drama… even when they misbehave, they somehow still make you fall in love with them all over again. And thank you as well for mentioning the Lucas fuel injection article, I will definitely take a proper look at it! With these old Italians, there always seems to be another fascinating mechanical story hiding somewhere beneath the bonnet.
The good news is… there’s actually another Italian currently waiting patiently for its own series. Work in progress at the moment, but hopefully it won’t be too long before it makes its appearance on the channel 😊
