Had a marvellous day down at Hart Classics. Even helped my neighbour at the show jump his 53 Chevy Belair after he left his fan on. Good deed done as us petrolheads help each other out.

If I can help someone I will. I also try to be nice to everyone, its a nice way to live. I can also talk for daysâŚ. Talking about the hobby. Well I am not a pensioner and I am big into the scene. I think they younger population of petrolheads is getting sick of the modern babying cars and all the needless tech, and there is increasing popularity of old cars. Classic cars, especially the higher end classics like bugs and Bentleys are very very dear now very much out of most peoples price range, you are very lucky to be with Colin and these cars in that aspect. But the more budget classics are getting a bit of a resurgence I think, and also the 90s stuff, like your bimmer are 30 yrs old now⌠Again as people get sick of the gadget cars. It do wonder what will happen to cars like Bugs and Bentleys etc I guess they will just get passed down the family or people who canât afford them now will be able to get them in the future. Wonder what their value will be as that fluctuatesâŚ. You are also doing the Lords work to promote these older classics in a fun and informative way. Keep going!!!

What a fantastic gathering! đ I do love these classic car shows, and one of the things I enjoy most is seeing how people are always willing to help each other. It never feels like a competition. Everyone is there for the same reason: to keep these wonderful cars on the road and to enjoy them together.
Sadly, that sense of community seems much rarer these days. People donât always stop to chat or get involved the way they used to. Thatâs why events like this are so important, and I really hope theyâre still happening many years from now. đ¤
One thing I do notice wherever I go is that many classic car enthusiasts are getting older, and fewer younger people seem interested in the hobby. I think thatâs one of the biggest challenges we face. Hopefully, by sharing these cars, their stories, and the fun that comes with them, we can inspire my generation to keep the passion alive. đđđ¨
