Did a prom for a nice young gentleman. Was very hot and the car suffered with vapour lock and would not idle in the q so had to let it cool down then drive him in. But he was very happy as it was a total surprise to him. I pulled over to tie the ribbons more taught after a mile as they were flapping all over the place. Lesson learnt there.

I believe Colin did something similar with Lagonda a few years ago. It’s always lovely to take part in these kinds of events—they really add an extra touch of glamour and class. Considering the temperatures we’ve had over the last week, I think it’s completely understandable that the car suffered from vapour lock. Very well done, and it looks absolutely fantastic with the ribbons on it!
