This was my first drive in the Type 51 at Prescott during the Garden Party, and it was absolutely incredible, a big thank you to Colin for all his support and for trusting me to drive such a special car.

I don’t think I could choose…I love them both…I love how playful the t51 is, but also the wildness and preselector gearbox on Betty…Dolly! 😊

Betty is very different to the later dolomites o dolly’s form the BL era in the 70s

Yes, only two were ever made, and apparently they bankrupted Triumph! The cost of building these cars was so high, and the selling price was the same, that nobody really wanted to buy one! They do share the exact same engine as on Alfa Romeo 8c, just imperial not metric.
