The last time the Joker left the workshop, it came home through three days of torrential rain during the Bugatti Reliability Run.

It survived.

But not without a few complaints.

A slipping clutch. Starter motor troubles. A growing list of jobs that needed attention before the next adventure.

And the next adventure is a big one.

In just a few days, this 1931 Bugatti Type 51 will be heading to Sicily, joining around 90 other Bugattis for what promises to be an unforgettable journey.

Before we can leave, however, there is work to do.

In this latest episode, we diagnose problems, adjust the clutch, rebuild part of the starter motor, and take the Joker out for a test drive to see whether our repairs have worked.

The real test is still to come.
