Just wanted to share a few photos from the Sicily Bugatti Meeting with the Bugatti Type 51, the Joker.

Looking back, I guess it always happens, I wish I had recorded more. But it was my very first time driving the Type 51, and to be honest, I was quite nervous. It’s such a light and agile car, and the feedback it gives you is incredibly direct. I was also trying to keep up with the rest of the drivers, which definitely kept me on my toes!

What I discovered, though, was a wonderful community. I genuinely feel blessed to have been part of it, and even more so that Colin trusted me with driving such a special machine, his Grand Prix Bugatti.

I think it brings a lovely balance to the channel: on one hand, I get to experience and share these incredibly rare and beautiful cars, and on the other, there’s my little Rover, proving that classic motoring can be enjoyed at every level.

I’m excited to see where this journey takes us next. Thank you all for coming along for the ride. ❤️

      • Where are the pictures Paula? Can’t see them… Also what what races did the bug compete and win in period?

        • Oh, you are right…they are all gone 😄.. I will upload them shortly, not as many at a time. Oh, by the way, you did asked me about hype points on youtube, so I looked into that. Hype points are a new way to help my videos get discovered. In the first 7 days after I post, you can ‘Hype’ the video to help it climb a weekly leaderboard.
It really matters because the more points we get, the better chance the video has of being featured to new viewers who haven’t found the channel yet! You get 3 free hypes a week to use🚀”

          • Ok I shall do that. Are you allowed to appeal for ‘Hype’ points? Or does that break a rule somewhere?

            • That’s a thoughtful question! Currently, there isn’t an ‘appeal’ process for Hype points. Since they are given by viewers and reset every week for the leaderboard, it’s all about the community’s activity during that first 7-day window after a video is posted.
As for the rules, the most important thing is that the video stays eligible (not age-restricted, no copyright claims, etc.). As long as we follow YouTube’s Community Guidelines, we’re all good! Thanks for being so careful and supportive!😍

              • I love your channel its one of the only ones where I don’t get bored half way through and pick up my Chromatic Button Accordion and pretend I am Johnny Meijer or Andre Verchuren… (The 2 greatest players in the world in my opinion.) if I can help you along I will. I also like the community on here as lots of car channels are mainly modern willy extensions, where as on your channel and here there is the older cars that I adore. With a mix of modern classics for good measure. I wish more people will join your forum, its also very nice.
