A few memories from Denmark

I’ve finally been going through some of the photos from our five days in Denmark with Gromit.

97 years old, temperatures well over 30°C, five days of driving… and somehow he kept going. 😅

There were definitely a few moments when I was watching that temperature gauge more than the road ahead, but looking back at these photos, what an adventure it was.

Beautiful roads, some incredible Bugattis, wonderful places and, most importantly, a lot of memories made with an old car.

I’ve picked a few of my favourite photos to share with you here.

  Looks like you had fun which is what matters. Danish countryside looks nice, would not mind a trip there myselfs. Do they still do the ferry from Hull across the north sea? OACX104 that’s a weird plate, looks like an GB one but different layout to the norm. Do you know the S.P on that one? My most favorites photo? The one with Gromit and the windmill.

    We had a fantastic time! The Danish countryside is absolutely beautiful, the roads are excellent, and everyone was so friendly. We took the ferry from Harwich to the Hook of Holland, rather than from Hull.
    Regarding Gromit’s twin, I’m pretty sure the owner told me where the car came from, but unfortunately, the information went in one ear and straight out the other! 😅 If by S.P. you mean the selling price, I honestly have no idea. I’m so pleased you enjoyed the photo of Gromit beside the windmill. That open-air museum was incredible!

      No sorry I forgot English English was your not your first language. SP is slang for the info on that or the details. I think it comes from the horse racing circles, not sure really. All I know is, I say it, my mother says it, my friends say it and we are all originally from in and around south London.
