• As promised, here are a few more photos of the Joker from Sicily.
As for the Bugatti’s racing history, I’ll need to check the details with Colin. Since he’s owned the car, it’s been used mainly for hill climbs, where it has won the Prescott Championship four times. It has also competed in a few circuit races, including Donington. In fact, there’s…Read More

  • Just wanted to share a few photos from the Sicily Bugatti Meeting with the Bugatti Type 51, the Joker.

Looking back, I guess it always happens, I wish I had recorded more. But it was my very first time driving the Type 51, and to be honest, I was quite nervous. It’s such a light and agile car, and the feedback it gives you is incredibly direct.…Read More

    • Where are the pictures Paula? Can’t see them… Also what what races did the bug compete and win in period?

      • Oh, you are right…they are all gone 😄.. I will upload them shortly, not as many at a time. Oh, by the way, you did asked me about hype points on youtube, so I looked into that. Hype points are a new way to help my videos get discovered. In the first 7 days after I post, you can ‘Hype’ the video to help it climb a weekly leaderboard.
        It really…Read More

        • Ok I shall do that. Are you allowed to appeal for ‘Hype’ points? Or does that break a rule somewhere?

          • That’s a thoughtful question! Currently, there isn’t an ‘appeal’ process for Hype points. Since they are given by viewers and reset every week for the leaderboard, it’s all about the community’s activity during that first 7-day window after a video is posted.
As for the rules, the most important thing is that the video stays eligible (not age-r…Read More

            • I love your channel its one of the only ones where I don’t get bored half way through and pick up my Chromatic Button Accordion and pretend I am Johnny Meijer or Andre Verchuren… (The 2 greatest players in the world in my opinion.) if I can help you along I will. I also like the community on here as lots of car channels are mainly modern willy…Read More

Did a prom for a nice young gentleman. Was very hot and the car suffered with vapour lock and would not idle in the q so had to let it cool down then drive him in. But he was very happy as it was a total surprise to him. I pulled over to tie the ribbons more taught after a mile as they were flapping all over the place. Lesson learnt there.

    • Does anyone else do a bit of charity driving?

    • I believe Colin did something similar with Lagonda a few years ago. It’s always lovely to take part in these kinds of events—they really add an extra touch of glamour and class. Considering the temperatures we’ve had over the last week, I think it’s completely understandable that the car suffered from vapour lock. Very well done, and it looks a…Read More

  • Good evening everyone 😊

I just wanted to share a few more photos of Auntie No!!! and some thoughts that have been on my mind lately.

When I bought this car, I genuinely thought it would be a fairly straightforward project. A bit of tinkering, a few repairs, and back on the road. How wrong I was!

It’s incredible how many stories,…Read More

    • Keep the patina. All cars tell a story and if only they could talk. Obviously get it on the button and reliable enough, though.
