More than welcome. I took a liking to the Clairet and Sand car and its patina.

For the next few days, I’ll be stepping away from the workshop and spending some time in Portsmouth.
Not because I’ve grown tired of old cars.😁
Quite the opposite.
One of the things I enjoy most about classic cars is that they encourage you to learn skills that many people have forgotten. Whether it’s adjusting brakes, setting ignition timing,…Read More![]()

Pompy is a lovely place to visit, mother live on Hayling Island (Next Door) so I am down that way quite a bit. She likes that Gunwharf Quays place to get some bargains and I sometimes take her as I like peoplewatching in one of the pubs. Southsea is a nice place to visit to have a walk down the pier, the Highstreet there is a bit rough now as a…Read More

For me it would be the Mercedes Benz Maybach S680 First Class. Not that I ever would as even if I had that kind of money to spend on a car I would always buy a classic. If…Read More

Interesting idea! Funny enough, I used to be a BMW fan since I was a teenager and I even worked for them as a service advisor, but not anymore with all the modern stuff.
Modern cars just aren’t really to my taste. They’re fine to drive now and then, and great for towing a trailer, but all those sensors drive me mad! I also find them quite str…Read More-

I agree. Good friend of mine has a 2025 5 series bimmer electric, as his company car. Been in it a few times and all the sensors and warnings like the lane thing and is has a shout at you if you go 31 etc. I think these are all mandates for new cars. I would never buy one just for that… I agree about the Bluetooth though. My fintail has…Read More
